A wide range of experts and organisations have been working with us to develop the new Home Quality Mark (HQM)
With the final version of the Home Quality Mark (HQM) standard due to be published in October 2015, we are continuing to work with many different groups and organisations to ensure that HQM delivers the high quality homes that are so urgently needed in the UK. The opportunities for you to become involved with HQM include:
Pilot projects - We are currently working with developers and social housing landlords who are helping us develop the scheme through a series of 'study sites'.
Consultation - We are continuing to canvas the views of technical professionals (designers, developers, constructors, maintainers and consultants), marketing professionals, financial institutions, legal experts and other cross-cutting groups. Click here for our public and industry consultation launched in July 2015.
Assessor training - A training programme for HQM assessors is being developed. Details of training for existing Code for Sustainable Homes assessors can now be found on the BRE Academy website here.
Further details of events and training courses to help you become involved with HQM are given below. Don't forget to follow HQM news via Twitter @homeqm
